A days

Why do you think the company, with the help of the safety comitee, decided to remove the possibility of having A days?
Specifically, why just before the RP talks?

In order for some of us to consider voting FOR new RPs thay will bring back some sort of A days, but in a form worse than before. And some of us will call it a win.

Don't be fooled. Vote AGAINST the RPs. Get a better solution to replace your lost A-days.
My friends in Europe, use the protections you have in Europe to escalade things if necessary. You'll be the ones who will suffer the most from 3-men LH and from the new A-days system.

Pretty simple fix. When I file an ASR-F, I'll also send a letter to the FAA informing them that CX is forcing me to fly fatigued in US airspace, with vastly more safety endangering FTL's than any US major. As a US based pilot, I feel they will take up the issue with more than a passing interest.

Here's what is playing out:

Husband: "I need to pawn your wedding ring because we are short. I promise you will get it back next month"

Wife: "OK--if we really need to and if I get it back OK; I'd really rather you sold your third boat instead though."

H: "cannot"

H: "Here's your ring--I TOLD you you'd get it back"

W: "But the stone is only half as big and the band is thinner--it doesn't even look like real gold...in fact, I can't even get it on my finger; it's too small"

H: "It's really a win to have a wedding ring at all and it's what all the folks in Canada are getting their wives--it seems to fit THEM"

How long would this marriage last ?

I wonder how many idiots will vote Yes this time around... can't believe there were people who voted No to the last CC motion. :ugh:

Bet you won't. Big talk though....

Well, as I have a close friend who who works for the FAA (since 1994), I think I will. As a matter of fact, he has already taken note of the issue. BTW, what on earth prompted your comment?
