As a total rebuke and instead of wearing ribbons, lanyards etc..just ditch the hats..crew mailbox room..big recycle box..and remove the badge..

OK, OK, cap badge. I don't pay attention to that thing and therefore do not have a name for it. I've never heard anyone refer to it in writing or in conversation. However, I get your point. I think we should replace them with happy faces.
