Fuel Hedge
So with oil at a 4 year low, which way do you reckon we hedged?
Probably at $110. Standby for "paper hedging loss of 2 billion". It hard to keep up with this year's missed opportunities:ok:
And a fair bit of the profit last time was from hedging. Geniuses.
Yes, the fuel hedging gains offset the 2.6 Billion loss attributed to "others"
Makes getting caught for illegal price fixing look cheap! Now if you and I came up with an illegal way to loose a single dollar for the 'group' what do you think may have happened to us? :mad:
Rumours are that CX hedges 50% of fuel required. No idea of price.
Just read that Ryanair hedged entire year at 96USD (assume financial year) so guess there will be a lot of cancellations with them. EasyJ I think hedged at 86USD. |
Lowkoon - were you talking about loosing a dollar or losing it? :mad:
All gone quiet on the industrial front, WTF are we going to complain about now….:confused::confused:
oh wait… fuel hedging:bored::bored: :rolleyes: |
