July Rosters Re-published

For those of you who get your 'company information' here than on iCannotConnect :} the July '14 rosters have been re-published. They should be sitting in your e-mailbox. Numerous people have noticed errors with their original rosters released on the 15th. Have a check...mine was amended (to my benefit).

Or, perhaps, just choose to fly the preferred roster with more G/L days and keep the hard copy original as evidence:D

Aloha.

I have three to pick from :ok:

China Flyer 16th Jun 2014 20:24

I still have none!

I think they have just found a new way to make you work on your Gs.

8929: " Sorry, your G day tomorrow was actually an error due to a corrupted file. The problem has been rectified. Please download your RE-PUBLISHED new roster and be ready to work tomorrow. Thank you!"

kenfoggo 17th Jun 2014 08:28

Edition 1 had me doing 98 credit hours. By Edition 3 they had got it down to 88. Funny old thing.

July Rosters Re-published

Ken, Be interesting to see if the edition 1 is what you end up doing at the end of the month.
Maybe they actually released the roster they plan on us doing by the time it's all said and done after the O day usage etc??

kenfoggo 17th Jun 2014 11:34

DDDOF- no, I do not believe that I can do the edition one as published. I am not certain but I think it may have contravened the rolling 28 day total max. The new FTLs have this rolling 28 day max but I do not believe the roster software has caught up with that yet. If you call up crew control and ask then what your 28 day rolling total is, they cannot tell you. I could be wrong.

Captain Dart 18th Jun 2014 02:04

Conspiracy theory is that any old roster was rushed out to fulfil the contractual publishing requirement. That gave them breathing space after the 15th to 'refine' the real one and send it out late as a 'correction'. 'Data corruption', pig's rear end!

In any event, 'double rosters' and reports of 'published roster' emails to retired crew would indicate a certain level of corporate stress; the airline's rostering system has serious IT and human error problems.

I still have none!

Maybe you're in the next 49 to be sacked China Flyer........

Synchronize 18th Jun 2014 04:30

Broadband I think some of your circuits have become corrupted

Your joking reference to China flyer being on the next batch of 49ers is neither funny nor appropriate and I would hope that you have the good sense to retract it an issue an apology

Secondly I highly doubt that the company would go down that road again for 2 reasons 1) I doubt they could fly the schedule with another 49 pilots gone
2) I sincerely hope they have learnt their lesson from the fiasco the first time they tried it

crwkunt roll 18th Jun 2014 12:28

What lesson? That they can get away with it again?

China Flyer 18th Jun 2014 21:47

No offense taken...

Arfur Dent 19th Jun 2014 04:47

In the good old bad old days, mr tyler (no capitals deliberately) - then Director Corporate Development, poor guitar player and serial philanderer - let it be known that CX had an enormous 'War Chest' and would simply run the roster with wet lease crews in the event of any industrial gesture by us lot. For months and months. It would be a bit like taking Cathay Pacific Airways to court on your own.
Be in no doubt - if it came to a penis competition, there's is pretty big and they will use it to f#*k you in a heartbeat - especially now when they can so easily replace most of us well before the cupboard is bare.
You have been warned!

Trafalgar 19th Jun 2014 04:57

Well that's the nice thing about the current situation Arfur (sic). The AOA doesn't even have to formally initiate CC (and I would advise them not to). We are all so upset individually that we are effectively putting CC into action all on our own. The wheels are coming off the operation, and it will get worse week by week. Each and every one of us has more than enough reason to stick to the 'letter' of our contracts, and that is all we need to do. I am happy to fly to the letter of my contract. That is what I am obligated to do. :ok:

Sqwak7700 19th Jun 2014 06:02

Agreed, keep it up until that industry leading pay-rise is in your pocket with a a modern and top-rate rostering system.

Well done my brothers and sisters. Good to see all of us fighting for a common cause.

:D

cxorcist 19th Jun 2014 07:36

All those freighters they cancel cost them big money. We need to get that kind of crewing problems onto the pax fleets.

Flying Clog 19th Jun 2014 09:24

:D

Agree wholeheartedly with the above comments - we are all doing an excellent job individually, without even going into official 'contract compliance' and the wheels are well and truly coming off in spectacular fashion.

I suppose the reason the freighter fleet is taking the brunt of the beating is that it's being sacrificed to keep the pax fleet going, but that will only last so long.

Keep it up indeed, until we get the pay rise we bl00dy well deserve and a proper rostering system...

;)

August Roster

When the roster's published early on the 15th you know everything is good in FOPs, with the correct number of happy, motivated pilots to meet the tasking.

It's a good barometer of how well pilot management is performing.

Anotherday 15th Jul 2014 11:35

Not seen the roster yet but the website keeps crashing.

Anyone else have their roster yet?

Jn14:6 15th Jul 2014 12:01

Not yet, as of 1200Z.
