Does freighter pilots take longer or shorter to upgrade to captain?

Does freighter pilots take longer or shorter to upgrade to captain?

Does it have anything to do with whether you are airline passenger pilots or freighter pilots?

Or it just depends on seniority, ability and availability?

Thank you very much!

Stop smashing bricks on heads

Beijing, Feb. 25: Pilot wannabes in the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) have been told to stop smashing bricks on their heads and instead focus on training for real flying.

A report in China’s largest military newspaper also said that arcane military arts of breaking wooden poles on a man’s back, hurling needles at panes of glass and pulling aircraft with the throat should be phased out as part of a pilot’s training.

The skills are honed through years of practice by members of a specialist segment of the PLA. Particularly impressive is the sight of a trainee pilot standing, unflinching, as three layers of concrete are piled on top of him and pulverised with a lumphammer.

The feats may have won honours in the past, Zhang Aijun, the squadron’s head, was quoted as saying. “But flying in battle is not a performance. The training of pilots must be tilted more closely to the reality of war and the pilots’ time must be used strengthening skills needed more urgently as an s/o.”

This string I have, how long is it?

It depends on how fast the airline you join is growing and/or having pilots retire and/or leave.

If a cargo airline is growing slowly or shrinking, time to command will be long. If it is growing fast, time to command will be short.

Freehills, the length of your string is the distance from one end to the other after you have straightened it out.

Dreamliner, the answer to your question is; Yes, it does does depend.

It depends on the amount of rubber dog**** in the holds, on how many hours you have on the tomcat and the shape of your RayBans.
