Pay Scales
 

I came across the published 1996 pay scales today
Our present salary is approx 17% less than the published scales from that date
Have we ever been shafted !!!
And I can categorically state that my salary back then was worth a great deal more than it is today

Not to mention we fly a hell of a lot more!!!!!!!

Is that even accounting for inflation?

Back then you also had only to do 700 hours in the year (without overtime) before going away for the rest of the time. Now, though we get overtime you don't stop flying until you hit 900 hours. That is in itself a productivity increase of 28.5%

Guess what you'd find if you compared Executive salaries??? You might have them - do let us know.:)

Easy enough to do, just go back through all the CX annual reports. I haven't the time myself.
