Simple Staff Travel Question
 

Hi all

First time posting on this forum so a little confused about how this all works, but hopefully this posts ok.

Anyway, I'm with CX and want my brother in law, rather than my brother to be a nominee on my staff travel (my brother won't leave the US, brother in law will).

I'm hoping one of you more experienced guys knows how I could make this happen? I'm really desperate as I'm probably just as close to my brother in law and know how much it would mean to him.

Sorry for opening a new thread but the forum would only show me two pages of background info. Mods, please feel free to move this to appropriate area.

I wouldn't know for sure, but the Pprune is certainly not the best place to ask, and I don't see why anyone would share staff travel benefits informations on a public forum.

If you do work for CX, then the ladies at the staff travel counter will be happy to help you with any question. They are actually quite nice and helpful. Emails are answered within 24hrs, usually...

Simple, read the Co. policy on nominees via on the website... no?

If you're not married, you can assign your brother-in-law as your companion.

Otherwise, I think some have been allowed to assign their step-parents i.o. their parents, so maybe you'll be allowed to do the same for your in-law.

Best is to ask the people at the benefit centre.

Unfortunately you are out of luck here. As it appears you're married, your brother in law doesn't qualify for CX staff travel. Only your wife/husband, parents, siblings and parents in law qualify for staff travel. I can understand CX making an exception to step parents but they won't make an exception to a brother in law. Sorry

Brother in law could be his sister's husband?? But he could upset his sister!!

The website wasn't clear on in-laws other than parent in-laws so it's nice to have some internal points of view.
