Air Asia X anyone

Fly Gosh: Air Asia X - Direct Entry Captain / First Officers ( A330/340 )

For those who want to get away from the nutters in the fleet office at CX.:ugh:

Good luck.

Sqwak7700 14th Oct 2013 08:24

Nice try D&N, but the first requirement is a valid Malaysian ATPL, so the majority at Cathay will be stuck here at the fountain of lamneth until the year 2112.

moosp 14th Oct 2013 08:40

dca.gov.my gives information on how to convert your foreign ATPL. Pretty much the same as getting your HKG ATPL when you arrived in HKG.

You will find a worse bunch of Nutters there for sure.

bamboo30 14th Oct 2013 16:10

Frogman you are ridiculous. No one point a gun for you to go there. Keep your negative opinions to yourself.

Kasompe 14th Oct 2013 16:32

Bamboo, you are either a management stooge, an Air Asia X Wannabe or just INCREDIBLY naive.... Frogman is 100% correct, and anyone who has been in this industry more than ten minutes knows it.
:ok:

bamboo30 14th Oct 2013 16:41

Kasompe do you have any facts to back it up?
Do you have a sample roster to show here? And what do you mean by work like slaves?

jetjockey696 14th Oct 2013 16:47

And dont forget..

-NO housing allowance or transport to or from work. (Malaysia airlines have crew transport from/to home to airport.
-Manangement are another bunch of YES YES ..controlled by Head Nut
-No interline travel.. only ID90 and FOC with airasia and airasia X they go dont go very far.... only asia.. hey hey.. FOC and ID90 to Hong kong.

and frogman is correct.. tired and enough of sugar coating companies.

Go to SOuth East asia forum.. many topics on Airasia..

Grass is never greener... especially with Airasia

Wait.. rumours has it.. that Malaysia Airlines are going hire very soon maybe by Christmas...

swh 14th Oct 2013 19:13

Maybe this thread should be read in conjunction with the above information.

Kasompe 15th Oct 2013 01:27

Bamboo,
Why don't you just go work for them and fill your boots.....! I'm sure it will be the job dreams are made of! Enjoy!
:ok:

DCA Malaysia

You guys are wasting time arguing about the T&Cs of AirAsia X when:

1) The country's aviation authority prohibits the hiring of foreign FOs in Malaysia.

2) They also make life difficult for foreign captains for license related issues.

3) AirAsia X does not hire NON-Malaysians in their flight decks (with the exception of certain Indonesian pilots).

:ugh::=

FR8R H8R 16th Oct 2013 05:58

But, on the positive side, the first class meals served to crew are great......uh.........disregard.

Freehills 16th Oct 2013 07:52

Might be of interest to AHK crew based in SE Asia, presume some of them are Malaysian

320busdriver 16th Oct 2013 18:09

Bamboo you must be a management lackey:*, I have many many friends in X, what a balls up of a company its fast becoming, at least to work for, last month the pilots had to subsidize the company by buying an ipad each, the company was only giving back 1000rm despite the fact most were unhappy about it.
My buddies have been telling me since the age of dawn that a payrise was imminent yet even after their IPO ( shares have tanked ) no mention apparently of any payrise infact was told management don`t even want to discuss the matter :ugh:.
Bamboo say it as it is, X is typical, typical low cost culture, nothing is provided or given,NOTHING. When they move to the new LCCT the employees are going to pay exorbitant rates to park, you pay your own medical, your DCA fees for your licence, infact everything, including of course your journey to work, so think long and hard about jumping over, the only good thing are of course the people who work there and the new planes, if that suffice then by all means make the move otherwise, don`t moan and groan about it later :oh: you`ve been warned.:=

Kasompe 17th Oct 2013 10:16

Bamboo has gone very quiet......

goldwing2006 18th Oct 2013 03:53

Bamboo has probably gone to PAY for his medical then over to the DCA to PAY for his licence and not to forget, more then likely looking at the green green grass from high above while flying 90-100 hrs.
But wait, if he's a management stooge then he's seating on his buns collecting his wage probably out doing some shopping at 2pm while the rank and file do all the hard labour:*

bamboo30 18th Oct 2013 04:28

Goldwings no i m not management in akx. Never flew for them. My point is if you guys have never been there and its all hearsay stop bashing out of nothing. If you been there pls do share with proper facts here. Let whoever intends to go judge for himself. Oh ya my bad, no airline is good enough for you. Typical gwei los, bitch and moan where ever you go.

320busdriver 18th Oct 2013 05:48

Bamboo you really are a moron, guys like you shoot off your mouth but don`t engage your small brain:ugh:, its not akx but D7 and further more how can people who intend to go judge for themselves if info are not there for them to judge - dud - that's where threads like these come in.
Yes I have seen their roster, at the moment, I stress at the moment, well at least the last 3 months most of the capts are on minimum rest, thats to say they are 1 day off in seven and 2 in fourteen, and my buddy whats app me, saying as usual management are further eroding the working conditions:D, annual leave can now be considered as day off as well
Remember that's against a backdrop of some of the lowest paid widebody pilots in the world

goldwing2006 18th Oct 2013 06:00

Not bitching and moaning just saying it like it is. If you can't take the truth then don't participate in any more forums. Tell me if anything I've said is wrong and I'll gladly retract it but until such time stop being such a racist as you've no idea where I'm from:ugh:
