Los Angeles Hotels

I am not at all familiar with Los Angeles and was wondering if anyone might be able to recommend a decent reasonably priced hotel close to the airport for an overnight stay thanks

I've heard the 'Hacienda' is popular amongst commuting air crew - cheap, cheerful and free shuttle bus/wifi etc.

Many to choose from. I use the Travel Lodge on Century Blvd. Like most if not all of the LAX hotels, free shuttle, ABF and Wifi but has a Dennys adjacent which is ideal if you can't sleep or wake up in the middle of the night.

Hacienda Hotel - LAX

Lots of commuting crew and transiting tourist stay here. It is an older hotel, but the rooms are well kept and clean. Unlike most internet reservations, you can call and cancel up to 6pm if you can't make a flight.

525 N. Sepulveda Blvd. El Segundo, California 90245
P. (310) 615-0015 . (800) 421-5900

When you call, talk to the front desk and tell them you are a Cathay Pilot, the crew rate is about $65 plus tax. They ask for your crew ID when you check in. Shuttle 24 hours, but I always call when I'm in baggage claim.

Starbucks and Ralph's grocery across the street. Good places to eat within 2 blocks south.

And then, you might even get the chance of a "bit" part or "extra" in one of the movies. Oh the joy of LAX airport Hotels.

Greetings,

I am looking for the same thing, reasonably priced hotel/motel for an overnight in Chicago O'hare, though.
Any suggestions/recommendations?
Cheers

Hacienda

Always try for the Hacienda, economical, friendly, across the street from decent chow. The shuttles pick up and drop off on sched.

Enjoy LA...Sushi
