Good luck with the difficult ones!
|
As usual, the right answer is the least wrong one..
EVERY destination can be legally planned, the question is how many alternates would I need for it... |
Ref Ops A 8.1.3.5.1
That would be the document that we are no longer issued with (nor given the tech to download)... |

Yes, mmmmmm. Which part about "Tempo Inter Prob for destination can be ignored" don't you understand???
|
But it also says
"6. Prob, Tempo or Inter weather conditions may be ignored, provided they are at, or above, the applicable published landing minima" A case of wording for alternate planning minima? |
That note is under destination ALTERNATE airport and calculation of minima for filing as an alternate. Also confirmed on front page of all NOTAMs at the moment. Maybe your Ops A is out of date?
|
Yes and while on the subject of destination alternate planning:-- you now only need to worry about Tempo Inter or Prob Visibilities below the applicable landing minima.....too bad if there is BKN below minimum as well :(. ( As per the Notam....)
