Long Hall- what a complete ****

What a bucket load of insincere 5hit the DFO write regarding the sacking of Mega-Dick PH.

F&ck me these office prats are something else aren't they?

Absolute tripe.

AtoBsafely 18th May 2013 07:00

Too bad it isn't, "Au revoir! Adieu!"

sizematters 18th May 2013 11:17

Although not officially announced, as the move is part of the annual Swire management rotations, I can share the fact that General Manager Aircrew Philip Herbert, who is employed as Swire house staff, is also leaving FOP in the coming weeks. Philip will be continuing a career outside Cathay Pacific.

I wonder if he will PX on the freighter to his next destination??

geh065 18th May 2013 21:36

Well management aren't exactly going to admit to the staff that they have fired one of their own are they? It is a signal of weakness to the troops. Basic management rule.

Sizematters

Your original post is confusing. The title "GMA now DFO" indicates that both the DFO and GMA are leaving. In a later post you only refer to the Herbert leaving.

The DFOs announcement says the Herbert is leaving and the IR manager/lackey is returning to full time flying duties.

What rumour are you trying to spread?

BusyB 19th May 2013 00:32

sizematters,

Not outside Swire unfortunately:(

Perhaps he will now look for work in Australia? The Screaming Skull McCormack's appointment as Director CASA ends in a few months and rumour has it that the CX Star Chamber former 'golden boy' won't be asked to 'stay on'. Plus CX's other favourite son Mick 'Ayatoller' Toller also spent time at CASA after his tenure with CX and the Swire hierarchy ended in tears. Or perhaps Australia has yet to endure the likes of Rhodes and Chen also?

crwkunt roll 19th May 2013 07:26

Rumour is that two 777 skippers have resigned to work in CASA, could be the replacements!!!

nitpicker330 19th May 2013 08:06

Let me dispel the rumors with some facts

1/ one 777 TC resigned to join CASA in CBR, will still use his 777 type rating in this new job
2/ one 777 TC resigned to become Chief Pilot of a CBR based charter company
3/ one retired A330 STC joined CASA as an FOI in SYD.

Ok clear :ok:

geh065 19th May 2013 08:11

Who were they? PDD is one.

crwkunt roll 19th May 2013 08:12

Nothing like some good facts to spoil PPrune haha. Away with you!!!!!

Jail time is an option for any CX GMA due not publishing or paying the correct amount of SHP. Wonder what happens when 2000 cases go to the tribunal?

Also, SO BPP case may be tried in other countries, as the contract was delivered to and accepted by individuals in their home countries. Many courts will see differently than HK.... And that clause about claims only be litigated in HK can be disregarded, as CX ignore most of the other important bits ( hence the original case).

FO BPP to come.
