Cathay wins again (NOT!)
|
A fair critique of what Cathay has become, but was it really fair to name the ISM, smacks of shooting the messenger...?
BA has come on leaps and bounds, and are head and shoulders above CX. Recently flew LHR-HKG-LHR on BA - out on 777ER, back B744. Awesome IFE on the ER, excellent in-flight service, and considerably cheaper than CX. When the BA A380 goes on the LHR-HKG route - it will be a game changer - those shabby old CX 400's will look rather quaint in comparison. |
On a recent trip with BA I found the food to be off a much higher standard too. The cabin crew were very professional and had a grown up, mature, common sense approach to service.

And they don't do a PA every time the seat belt sign goes on!

Despite my username, I am actually now a cadet at Cathay Pacific, and I would appreciate you not to insult my airline.
I just left HKE. |
Utterly shocked this topic hasn't been closed yet! Where are the MODS?
MODS can we please have this closed before the critism grows outta hand! :D |
It is said to be pre take off so it obviously has not been cleaned as bin is full nor has it been checked as no lotions.

It is said to be pre take off so it obviously has not been cleaned as bin is full nor has it been checked as no lotions. Oh, I forgot, despite all these other factors, OTP is the MOST important consideration, as clearly the punters would rather be on time in a dirty aircraft, rather than 5 miuntes late in a clean one. Another fantastic CX management directive...... (aka own-goal) |
When you been here 20 years plus and seen how bad the airline has become in its treatment of staff ....then you can tell us to shut it icadet.
Bet I will be watching your ass leaving just after your p1 rating is issued. |
Troll alert. :ugh:
