Another 14 x 777-300ERs
Looks like the second part of the order Tony mentioned a while back will be announced next month.
Meanwhile, Aspire Aviation has learned that Cathay Pacific will sign a contract with Chicago-based airframer Boeing to purchase 14 additional 777-300ERs in May, bringing the total of 777-300ERs on order and operated by Cathay to 60. |

NR wants the 777Fs, but I am not sure how much what he wants factors into a major aircraft purchase like this.
The freighter fleet will be getting pretty lean once 9 BCFs leave for ACC and AHK. Those departures essentially turn the 10 -8s into a capacity increase only, not fleet growth. Funny, that's exactly what the ERFs were - a one to one replacement for the classics. Wonder where they would fly 777Fs? ULH to NAM if they follow the passenger model, but I think they would probably just put the right-size freighter on the demand for the day. Can you say Roster Disruption? 16.3? |
RIP 777 Rosters
That's the end for 777 Rosters
