Tim Hesford and his wife safe and well after damaging their Cessna 195 after engine failure and forced landing today.
Plane crashlands in paddock near Port Pirie
TWO people have walked away uninjured from a light plane that has crashed in a paddock in the state's Mid-North. The Cessna 195 hit a fence after it landed in the paddock at the intersection of Wanderah and Old Port Broughton roads about 23km south of Port Pirie A police spokeswoman said no one was injured and the plane suffered only minor damage. The Australian Transport Safety Bureau, which investigates aviation accidents, has been notified. |

Rumour has it he was only on one engine when he started crossing the gulf, worse still, the other one was never fitted :}
