Error in Peoplecx Tax return enquiry
 

Guys, just a heads up at this tax time of year. If you use the tax return button in PeopleCx i've noticed an error in their calculation particularly if you've had salary deductions eg long term sickness etc. Instead of reducing your income by the amount that was deducted it actualy adds it on effectively increasing your salary though you never got it!

In my case it would have meant an increased tax burden of $hk60,000. I've informed cx and i'm sure it's just a small clerical error, but given that tax returns are going out now, i'd thought i'd give you a heads up.
