Very Cool 747 PC Sim (for Prep/proficiency)

Hello all;

This sim for the 747 400 seems pretty awesome, might be an accurate tool to help prep for an interview. :)

PMDG 747-400 Queen of the Skies, and the 400F add on, are really good. Everthing works: includes FMS and accurate weight and balance software.

Ready for pushback seems to be the reference for the 747-200.

It would be nice to hear from somebody that's actually tried it. I'm interested in buying it but would hate the dissapointment of lashing out the loot and then not receiving an up-to-scratch product. :bored:

The aerowinx software is pretty old now and works better with older computers, also was very expensive.
Queen of the skies add-on for the flight simulator 9 is the way to go.
Look it up on the web.

I used Queen of the Skies.

Took me a while to set everything up for a practice sim ride starting in HKG. I then saved the panel state/flight info/weight and balance, for future quick access and I loved it.

It helped me with my scan (and mainly my scan), which is exactly why I bought it.

If you are not 'flight simulator inclined' in the first place, then it is not for you!

It takes a lot of patience, but it did pay off for me. I spent almost $90.00 on both the basic 747-400 and -400F add ons.

Take a look at the PMDG 747-400 for MS Flt Sim. I use it for line checks and it works just like the A/C! All the switches work, the autopilot, the FMC, EVERYTHING!

Very impressive.

B777 sims.

Are there any good B777 PC simulators??

Yeager 28th Sep 2006 11:15

The PMDG 744 sim is excellent. I use it for any prep, and if you like flightsim (If you did you would prob already have it! ;-) ) its awsome.

Enjoy.

But remember you have to already have MS FS2004 installed.

777 sim

The best 777 sim that I have come across is the '777 Professional' by Just Flight. This sim is as good as the 744 and runs on MS Flight Sim 2004.;)

The LevelD 767 is the best by streets.

Queen of the skies is the PMDG 747-400 simulator. And yes it is that good.

The 747-200 "Ready For Pushback", corney I know, would be the better one, seeing that the interview sim is on the -200. Everything works as advertised, so good to practice your sim profile.

Hi

Ive used a lot of software on the market PS1 ,queen of the sky etc but i find my self on th ps1 (Aerowinx) it work great on win xp with alot of add on free ware like acars real weather. It can help with malfunctions like to name a few hot engine starts ,vol' ash, engine fire before or after v1 tcas training and a list of airline config so u can choose Cx config and it will have RR rb211 engine. A great Computer base trainning software.
