CX Staff Travel Discrimination
Was talking to a friend a few days ago, and they were explaining how they think the CX staff travel scheme discriminates against those emplyees who are not married.
The spouse of an employee has unlimited acccess to sublo and zed tickets, but the unmarried employee can only register a companion (same or different sex) and that person has only limited access to cx sublo and no zed access (if i remember right) With the HK government talking about anti-discrimination legislation, is this a situation that is likley to change anytime soon? |
No because a defacto relationship has no legal standing in HK or for that matter in most parts of the world with the exception of Australia and New Zealand. If one was to pursue this down the anti discrimination route the company could quite legally turn around and withdraw all companion travel. Do you want that?
It is worth pointing out though that companion travel was once much more relaxed but was abused by some staff, hence the situation we are stuck with today. |
Sticky b, before you can get divorced and give her half everything you own you have to get married first.:)
If you are married in hk your income tax free allowance is doubled too. |
