True, déjà vu all over again. Although CPC was merged into Air Canada, at great cost to the CP pilots who’s seniority wasn’t recognised in the new airline. Maybe we will meet the same fate in AC or GBA...

Yep, The big red monster ate up CP. Those guys got screwed over so bad.. They lost their pensions, had to take a major pay cut and loss of benefits. I heard 747 captains were reduced to 2nd Officers on the DC-10..Or was that the Wardair guys getting it from the CP boys? Either way, they would have been better off if they went bankrupt.
