Wuhan 19 to pass

Those countries where the Wuhan virus is spreading quickly will be over the virus sooner than most of us realise. Only a small proportion of the population dies from it, many people don't even know they have it. So in short order if a country doesn't lock down you are either dead or recovered.

Trump is clearly a piece of **** in all respects, but his gross incompetence may bring the USA back to normal quicker than other countries which are actively managing the virus. Only problem is this comes at the expense of the weak (a group that Trump doesn't give a **** about).

Thoughts?

Thanks for your political insight. I'm sure you'll be even more upset after 3 Nov. I'll get the popcorn.

Trump like every politician dealing with an unknown pandemic has made mistakes . I think he would have stopped all flights from Wuhan much earlier if he had had the backing of the stupid democrats instead of having to deal with their ridiculous impeachment sham . Everyone has made mistakes and decisions were based on the so called experts advice , some of it based on poor data and incorrect modelling plus seeing the horror that was occurring in Italy .
Tedros should be fired and the WHO should be disbanded for their awful advice given during the initial stages of the pandemic . Tedros is not even a doctor for heavens sake, yet spouts absolute bull**** and continues to claim how important he is .
so my feeling is that the USA will open up again ,slowly at first then more rapidly as testing becomes more widespread or they find a possible cure .
the Governor's who have become dictatorial of late will pay a heavy price for their draconian lock downs and trampling on the constitution at the ballot box in Nov
‘As for Trump I think his re-election is a foregone conclusion

I reckon you are right, except for what happens when Biden (#believeallwomenbutnottarareade) gets replaced by an Obama/Hillary ticket. Then its popcorn for sure!

Cannot, think!

Impeachment sham my arse!

Btw, Trump ignored the medical advice as did the Italians etc. Those who reasonably promptly followed the advice are fairing well, unlike the US. As to draconian lockdowns......far out, talk about an idiotic comment. The countries that locked down early are the ones doing okay, and if your Governors were disregarding your constitution there would not be any lockdowns because they'd not have the legal right to do so. I suggest your read the talk from M.I.T. who have stated that those who restrict social distancing etc will have a better economic outcome than the idiots who go back to business as usual too fricking soon.

AS to their (WHO's) advice, what a load of rubbish. Trump closed your borders to China (and we followed), yet your deaths are where in number? Your Gov has sole responsibility for that because of the inaction by your imbecile of a President.

I also suggest you get a better understanding of the title Dr., he has a Phd. and his main field was microbiology and immunology, and so I guess that gives him better insight than a medical Dr. Also the original origins of Dcotor are not what you think.

"In 1986, Tedros received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Asmara.[13] In 1992, Tedros received a Master of Science degree in Immunology of Infectious Diseases from London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine at the University of London.[6][14][8] In 2000, he earned a Doctor of Philosophy in community health from the University of Nottingham for research investigating the effects of dams on the transmission of malaria in the Tigray region of Ethiopia.[15]"

Here come the zombies.

Life must really suck when you sit in a shrink wrap bubble afraid of everything. And rely on some entity or person somewhere to protect you from all ills. Slandering them and blaming them when you stub your toe because they didn't put bubble wrap on the sharp rock and a warning sign next to it.

It's going to suck even worse when you get taken out by an engine falling off an airplane while you're sitting there hiding under the bed with a mask on wiping your hands with disinfectant.

At least with my bright red MAGA hat on it'll repel the snowflakes and keep them out of my way while I go live life.

My thoughts? Give me a break, and good luck in your new career. Your problems are not something that Tump caused so getting over it will the first step in opening the door to future sucess. To much hanging around airports and watch CNN will really mess with your mind, so you might want to expand your viewing as well.

Well, considering that these two highly educated and prominent gynecologists in Floriday commited a felony in front of their children to tear down a Trump flag on private property, I think that anyone who demonstrates TDS to that degree is probably too far gone to help. That would likely be you ControlledRest.

Frankly, I could care less about your opinions for or against Trump and his responses or lack thereof to COVID-19. The only opinions of him that matter are those voting in the USA’s swing states. This is an aviation forum, so let’s try to leave him out of it. It’s not helpful.

I agree that those of you binging on the 24 hour news cycle need to get a life. Put another way, don’t bite off on the click bait. There isn’t much unbiased news out there anymore. CNN certainly leads the pack in utterly disgraceful “journalism”. They don’t even attempt to hide their disdain for the US President and certainly share responsibility for the polarization and nasty discourse that has come to define American politics.

As per your username, you are a failed Aussie ex CX FO. I'm afraid we just can't take anything you say seriously.
