Where to Stay in HK atm

This is a straightforward question , not trying to stir or upset anyone

I want to come up to HK in two weeks to run a training course & information sessions (aviation related - Flight crew recruitment related) over a 3 or 4 day
period likely including a weekend

Normally I stay on the Island in Happy Valley / Causeway Bay area , thinking atm this might not be such a great idea. & that possibly staying across the water at
Tsim Sha Tsui might be a better idea . If anyone has any suggestions much appreciated because it is difficult to get a "feel" for where protests and likely disruptions would be

Thanks

Disco Bay is a good spot to avoid the real world. Seriously.

I was looking for a friend coming to town this morning.. The Hilton Garden in Mongkok is a ridiculous $350 HKD a night just now.

Yes - that's a pretty good idea. The Auberge Hotel there probably has whatever facilities you need, and it's pretty much inconceivable that it would be affected by the current issues.

Yes - I know someone who has just booked the HK Shangri-La for $1100, a price last seen sometime around 1990!

You might like to try the Airport Regal or even the Headland Hotel.

Much more convenient for the applicants to attend your presentations.

Precisely zero casualties since the Japanese Invasion last century.

Get a nice hotel downtown and enjoy the city. The impact on tourist spots is negligible.

The Auberge in DB is so ugly you risk eye cancer and as exciting as the Comfort Inn Mesa, Arizona.
