Is a 0% pay rise really acceptable?

At the risk of asking a stupid question, why doesn’t the GC just pencil in their floor amount on the outstanding item and volley it back to the company. “Here is our final offer. Let us know. Have a nice day.”
Seriously.
Seriously.

... because they are worried they might end up with no “deal”. Somehow, the HKAOA has turned a negotiating position of strength into weakness. Truly an own goal!
I am so disappointed in the GC/NC lately, why cant they jut walk away, not even recommend it to us and tell the company they will talk when they are serious about negotiating. It is so one sided it isn't funny.

The company is hurting with the number of resignations occurring, so take a look at the offer and walk . Have a pre arranged signal so the entire N.C. walks at exactly the same moment .

Or, how about 2400 pilots decide what they want to happen for the foreseeable future?

don't be fooled by the basing email that was sent out today. Think about why they would dangle the basing carrot just before a deal is meant to be voted on. Once again you will fall in to the companies trap. If the deal is no good vote it down, force them to finally do the right thing.
you do realise people will foolishly vote in the deal in the hopes of getting a base. It is just a ploy to get us to sign a crappy deal. Don't fall for it people, bases are not coming back. Fight for your contract, get a fair deal, dont just pick up the crumbs in the hope of a base that wont be available

Wait for the "personal appeal" letter in your CMB soon. The jellyfish will try to reason with you on a "personal" basis, invoking (possibly) your family, kids, vague undertakings regarding home port bases, suggesting fleet transfers, or whatever it takes to sucker you into an acceptance of "the offer".
Don't fall for it. They are as dishonest as the day is long. It's a trap. They're screwed without cc and tb gone. Stay the course.
