Vote to keep your crew mail boxes

In your cpa company mail there is a 'fop weekly update'.
At the top, they ask us to take a short survey if we want to keep our mailboxes.

More ridiculous amateur psychology

I am sure there would have been many frowny emojis if they had just said the mailboxes were to be moved next to the bins out the back, but now everyone will be patting themselves on the back for filling in a survey and having these things moved to the middle of nowhere. The old "Make them think it was their idea” trick.

And why do they need any more space?? They have just fired hundreds of people.

What I can't believe is that there are people that care more about their mailboxes than the stagnated "seniority fleet transfer" thread on the AOA forums.

If they take away the mailboxes where will they put the "sign-or-be-fired" contracts?

Interestingly, the cabin crew were individually asked by email if they wished to keep their mailboxes. As the company have been told in no uncertain terms by the cabin crew that they do in fact wish to keep their mailboxes, the company have now backtracked from their plan to remove said crew mail boxes. One can assume the result was simply because the cabin crew were vociferous enough about the issue, it now seems the company have moved onto target number two, the pilots.

However, It also seems like they have learned well from their past mistake of asking people individually.
On the basis one should never ask the question if one may not like the answer, they have taken the disingenuous step of avoiding asking all crew by email which most would have seen and replied to, or Comply365 which all must acknowledge, but instead have subtly made it a small paragraph in the weekly propaganda. Anecdotally, many just delete this propaganda email when it arrives, and in so doing, the company can simply hide behind the "Well we did ask you", other than the fact this thread brings such deviousness to light.

Therefore, if you wish to keep your mailbox, then you will need to be as vociferous as the cabin crew.

To use a well used phrase of days gone by from the old 4th floor: "Please be guided accordingly"

Did the cabin crew mailbox move? I see that even if we get to keep our mailbox the D has already been made to move them to the 2nd floor.

I'm also sure that the next thing to come out is the removal/move of the based crew luggage storage. It has already been stated that renovation of dispatch will start soon and I'm sure they are counting on the extra space to cater for Dragon flights.

Would be nice if we could actually see the renovation plans as we are the day to day users not like the twice a month managers and probably have some good ideas.

Anyhow, they are not mail boxes, they have been reconfigured to be company issued personal EFB storage portals!

Pre flight. Retrieve iPad EFB from said portal 5secs before report for duty and switch it on as you approach the sign on point.

Post flight. Turn it off and place in personal EFB storage portal (formerly known as FOP crew mail box).

Surely this is the safest and most risk free storage of an important operational device?

Devil personal EFB storage portal (formerly known as FOP crew mail box)

If you reply, request that they be made larger.
General population needs EFB storage portal + more space for those rather large and bulky employment packages that are arriving..

A Hat Form will soon be rolled out into Comply365. A photo of the Officer wearing his or her hat shall be uploaded into the application at the start of each duty period, which will be date and time stamped.

The separate Virtual Hat application project has been shelved due to cost.

Please be guided accordingly.

Keep them please

Many commuters rely on them for mail. And it’s not required to check them before flight. They’re trying to find real estate I think.

Please se vote to keep them.

Too late, look at the latest FOP update. It looks like the D to move has already been made along with the based luggage area.
