The Journey - Our People, Our Airlines

What's happened to the aforementioned online publication ? Still waiting to see the March-April edition. The last one published online was January - February?

https://www.cathaypacific.com/cx/en_...ld-online.html

Thanks

Are you seriously asking about another Company rag / propoganda tool? Perhaps they figured out that nobody, except you apparently, gives a toss about or reads that garbage and have unceremoniously cancelled it, demonstrating the first decent management decision so far this year.

I wouldn't even give that rag the dignity of assisting in the wiping of my arse. That goes for all company propaganda btw.

I find that anything sent to me by the company only succeeds in raising my blood pressure to the point that I am basically unfit to operate an aircraft. It's hard to read/listen to the absolute deceptive, deceitful, lying crap that passes for company communication. Can hardly wait to read the predictable "statement" from the company in coming weeks blaming the AOA for a "breakdown" in negotiations and how the company was "doing their best" to be "reasonable". You can fill in the rest of the mountain of lies and half-truths that will accompany that message. That is what you end up with when you are managed by an organization (Swire) that has spent the better part of 200 years building their empire on intimidation, drugs, gun-boat diplomacy and outright corruption and criminality (cargo fines anyone?). Anyone who expects to hear the truth of any situation from our management is living in cloud cuckoo land. Prepare for the inevitable "breakdown of negotiations", then resolve to tighten the screw on the company even further. There is no other option, and we all know it.

ATY

Absolutely true. How far we have come from the mid 80's ...from a company where the staff would always go the extra mile...to today where we are literally going the extra mile. If Martin Murray could explain the logic behind the fuel hedge to me as succinctly as he tries to explain SAP, then maybe we would have a starting point for compromise. Until that day, I am not listening.

Now why would I do that? I've been pleasantly oblivious as to the existence of this "The Journey" publication up until this thread came along.
Thanks, but back to my coffee and things that interest me.

Hilarious. Considering the state of CX IT, and the steps you need to take to actually reach the site, needless to say almost NO ONE will ever be able to read it !! (and who would want to anyway??).

When you are still working with the bunch, you'll not border to read or even taking notice who's in and out but when you're out of the circle, like me, this become the only source to know what's their update they are showing off again.

Yes, probably is Anna. You can tell they have already seconded Zir executive secretary to The Jellyfish due to the spelling/grammar errors.. Now what we read is pure unadulterated Cambridge.
