Cathay Freighter Pilot Retirement Age

What is the current retirement age for Cathay Freighter only pilots?

There is no such thing as a Cathay freighter only pilot anymore. The company sold their pax 747’s and the remaining aircraft were only freighters. A majority of those pilots never signed up to fly the freighter only. They were forced onto this type of flying through circumstances and bullcrap policies which has prevented a lot of senior guys from transferring to other fleets while watching juniors take their place.

Now that that has been cleared up your retirement age as a new joiner is the same as every other new joiner but these days most people don’t stick around till retirement.

The retirement age is when the roster finally kills you or debilitates you to the point where you can’t hold a medical or 65, whichever comes first.
