Excellent news. Much needed investment in the aircraft.

I was so so worried, in fact I had sleepless nights, that when I get Pri25 on KA to those lovely destinations in China, I would be stuck on those horrible old aircraft.

Especially when I don't have a travel fund to spend on those flights and I would be dipping into my own pocket.

I know it will take a few years for the replacements and there is a possibility during that time Management will give Pri24 to KA staff while we are stuck on Pri25 but I don't care. And with the CMP about to start, which is for the benefit of the pilots and not the company, things can only get better.

To be honest, I'm thinking of throwing away my red lanyard, start working G days and apply for a Training Position. And the Friday Flyer? It's actually a good read when you have a positive outlook on life.

What are the chances of newly qualified pilots getting a job with KA?

Zero unless you're a cadet in their program.
