Finally, our very best wishes go to Senior Captain Hank Cheng, who on Sunday begins an epic three-month journey flying around the world in a homebuilt Cessna RV8 aircraft, named Inspiration.

I think it's time to hang up my equalettes for some well earned psychological rest. You guys can flog your guts out flying the A50 and 787-8F. I shall be following Hank's round-the-world cessna RV8 flight with interest.

She must be due a "promotion" soon. Surely there's a desolate corner of the swiredom that would benefit from her vast knowledge of aviation.... Perhaps Swire Shipping Papua New Guinea could benefit from having their RPs cancelled.

I suppose if you give someone a Senior position and then take all their authority to act away, you get the nonsense that has been the last series of so-called DFO's. 2 out of the last 3 have been Oxford educated so they're not stupid, they just have their hands tied behind their backs. To make matters worse AT seems to be dreadful at researching her own comments properly. That's just lazy and ignorant and the latest example is quite pathetic.
With people like her and Ivan up there, it's no wonder the "Cathay Titanic" is filling up and sinking. Keep that 9th Floor Orchestra playing as the waters lap around your shoes…..we're going' down!!!
