GFBA, SCMP, FRIDAY FLYER, HKAOA UPDATES.

While away from HK over the announcement of the recent HKAOA vote on the TAs, I was monitoring the SCMP web site for any news. After the HKAOA's vote announcement the SCMP published two articles on its web site and in print quoting AT and others saying that CX intended to immediately return to the negotiating table to resolve the contentious issues. The next Friday Flyer stated that the company had no intention of returning to the said table resulting in RF's letter to the DFO re. the GFBA and CX's intended contravention of it.
I find it stunning that no one has called CX out on this obvious attempt to mislead the public, the financial community, the press, its shareholders, its customers and its employees. Maybe a further approach to the HK media to point out this fallacy?

I read the SCMP online business blog the day the vote was announced. The blog quoted AT and the CX corporate communications dept. saying that CX planned/or was already back at the table to address the contentious issues. I have gone back to search for the blog, intending to quote it here. There is now no record of it. The plot thickens!
