So in case you were in any doubt, we'll definitely get you a ticket, but you probably won't travel.

I believe the names shown are just the first 2 letters of your last name and your first initial, for the purpose of being able to identify only yourself and your position on the list. This is how it's done in the US with the gate standby display screens. It's highly unlikely anyone else could identify you from this and a date of joining, unless they knew you personally.
I think the changes are a step in the right direction, in terms of clarity. However, would be nice to see a further enhancement to view these added details for each class. But we all know they don't upgrade revenue PAX ahead of staff travellers so why would it matter
