Focus Night

So what happened? All talk, chest beating and stall tactics?

Hopefully, if you're asking here, nobody will answer your freeloading question!

Some even drank beer afterwards!

We compared answers for tech quiz questions.

If you missed it, questions can be answered in the appropriate forum.

I hope the AOA come out with some actual information as to what was discussed during the focus night.
Not everyone can attend these meetings.

In short, it was a waste of time, and much like last time, constant drawling justification of the Stockholm syndrome that has taken hold of the NC.

I thought the meeting was good and there were a lot of good questions etc. from the +/- 200 pilots. I got the sense that the pilot group are basically all united in the way forward.
Obviously cannot say too much on this forum. Members know where to go for more info.

This is simply not the appropriate forum for any discussions on the focus night. If you are a member, then use the AOA forums. If not, it's none of your business.

Any opinions on the focus night here are probably management wind ups or non-members or members wishing to stir things up unnecessarily. is offline

Apologies and as correctly pointed out, I will head on over to the AOA forums to have a look. Will also get off my lazy ass and call some friends who attended last night.

I'm just getting so frustrated with the apathy.

Shouldn't you want to make it our business. I find most AOA loyalists are more interested in being pissed off if someone is not a member, rather then having a genuine interest in recruiting them for membership...

A twisted argument of self-justification, and rather strange that you suddenly feel the need for members to be 'recruited'. If pilots can't see the importance of belonging to the Association themselves after a few months in the airline, even if it's just for the IFALPA post incident/accident support, I don't hold out much hope for them.

First post, too, funny about that. If things heat up, this forum will see a few more trolls and the odd agent provocateur popping up with first time posts. I'll get my beer and peanuts ready.
