ID Travel One World

Guys, does anyone know of a website where we can get numbers, even if its just smiley faces, of seats available on our one world partners. Or for that matter, any other airline?

As a previous poster mentioned, CX is impossible right now. I'd like to know my chances on other airlines before I book on Intracx. And yes, if MH is available I'm taking it.

If you actually start the booking process on MyID Travel, when you get to the page where you can choose a flight then it actually shows the smiley faces (mind you, most are grumpy at the moment).

I've used Lufthansa on 10 sectors in 2 weeks and got on every time. Very, very professional with their Staff Travel.

As S.H.I.T says, start the process and you get a face- though on three sectors with a green face I had the last few seats.

ASU Trip Check. or. ID Deals.
Both sites require registration plus
Annual fee Similar info to Flt Stats .
Good for cross check also rather than
faces they give available seats in F/B/E

I've read somewhere that Kayak.com uses the Amadeus booking engine and therefore shows you the same seat numbers free that would show up on any of those pay sites or iJourney. The times that I've used it, it has seemed fairly accurate.

Simply type in the flight you want to "buy" and it will show you under "details" how many seats free in each class.

Not really. Kayak/ Tictas etc. will show you how many seats (up to 9) the airline will sell you. This doesn't mean loading and many airlines will happily over book, and still sell tickets even when full.

Seat Alert app is very accurate, I've used it at check-in to get a better seat after being given one next to a toilet. It work an unlimited number of times each day on android, but I believe after using it 5 times in a day on an I device it asks you to upgrade to the paid version, resets for the next day.

Any suggestions?

Just a quick tip to state that you can check the actual number of free seats on myIDtravel if you click on the flight number and it will tell you whats left. On a couple of occasions, I have seen a grumpy face and a row of nines.

However I generally use Flight Stats and I find it is pretty accurate. I have not been bumped off a flight for some time due to a little tactical planning before hand.

Mister Geezer

How do you interpret the seat info? I remember this on the old IBM Cupac system and I use to use it but my memory is failing me.
