Almost sure it´s going to be EWR, specially now that SQ is leaving the route, the New Jersey area is very convinient for thousands of travellers over JFK.
Second option could be SEA or BOS and far behind I think is DFW and MIA, however for DFW I think we have more chances to see AA than CX and MIA is too long too thin too make a real profit out of it.

Migair,
I agree with you on all but AA jumping into the HKG market from DFW. I very much doubt AA is looking to expand into CX territory at the moment with all the merger stuff going on. They would be very grateful if CX ran the route though so they could carry the Oneworld connections to Central and South America from DFW.
I think the announcement will be EWR (yes, much more convenient from much of Manhattan's west side and the Jersey suburbs). My guess is that SEA and BOS will be next on the list with a possibly shuttle between SEA and DFW for AA feed southbound.

Newark it is. Another ULR layover squarely within the 18-30hr bracket no doubt.

Yeah, that way they can make our layovers even shorter! Just like the SFO split duty -- just ask the 777 pilots. CX doesn't believe in Flight Time Limitations, only Flight Time Targets. Particularly when it comes to rest periods...
