Smile CX Watch Bell & Ross

You probably deleted the last DFO missive without reading, however he did make mention of a Cx PILOT ONLY watch available from Bell & Ross.

This is a limited edition model, min 50 to a max of 100 pieces, so you need to be quick to snag one.

The price offered is a 30% discount to the normal HKG price for the same watch, & the back can be engraved with your name if you like.
More info on the website below.

Delete everything after "CathayPacific" in the link and it'll work.

Exclamation Sad

Seriously,
does anyone regardless of who they work for really want to be reminded every time they look at their watch. I suggest following Dans advice.

Electronic devices, such as phones, should be switched off for takeoff and landing...

Damn, I really, really wish I could get my hands on one of those beauties!!
Are you guys serious - who honestly wouldn't want a watch with the worlds most renowned airline name Cathay Pathetic written on it - I just don't get it!

Not sure it's worth pulling the handle just to get a half price watch!

To continue the Peanut Gallery comments:
Well done, if you want such an item of jewelry with your employers name on it, I congratulate you on getting off your ass and making it happen.
I for one, cannot understand why people pay such an outrageous price for a watch. It tells the time, like my cheap Citizen, and my iPhone. Your Billion dollar watch is NOT more accurate, so obviously is a piece of jewelry you like, and I guess that's OK. Not sure why I think anyone cares for my opinion, but I've had a few lagers, and well..... I'm right.

And no one commented on this sentence in the advert:

"The BR Type 03 Aviation is an Iconic utilitarian watch which responds to the specific requirements of fighter pilots."

Chocks away!!

Buy one of these things and diagnose yourself with Stockholm syndrome. "But they only beat me when I've been really, really bad like following my CoS." I can understand the pride of the old days when it was a boys club stationed in the far east colony; now we've got Joe Blow and his mates wondering where our self respect is after reading their christmas copy of Johns bestselling book.

I declare myself – I’m a ATCer. I read all along and never comment until now.
Yeager – I agree with you totally. I have a good collection of NBY, I wear them daily (although they are no longer available under production). I like to see if the CX watch should worth its price, but I cannot access without p/w. Mechanical watches, like jewellery of all kinds, are not cheap but should not be overpriced at the same time.
For those who have no clue of what I’m talking about, google ‘Yeager’ and ‘NBY = No Barrier Yeager’. For those pilots who have “no preference on their watches”, google the origin of ‘pilot’s watch’. They have their specific backgrounds, functions & pride of their owners. Hope you find the sense of belonging of an elite (aviation) group.
