“Obama Phones” are actually a creation of Ronald Reagan, who began the program in 1984
Actually called the “Lifeline program,” the legislation permits some households to receive a free landline under Congress’s rationale that “telephone service provides a vital link to emergency services, government services and surrounding communities.”

Why the hell would anyone want to vote? The two candidates are as corrupt as each other, both are controlled by their bankster overlords. Don't vote it only encourages them. I can't believe as adults we are still falling for the same two party trick, absolutely pathetic! Grow up!

Colocolo, where do you get your information? The Telecommunications Act of 1996 (Section 254 of the 1996 Telecom Act) signed on February 8, 1996, by President Clinton (William J. Clinton: Statement on Signing the Telecommunications Act of 1996) is what makes "Obamaphones" available.
Here you can see that the phone program was NOT started by Reagan in 1984 (The Shady Ethics of the Obama Phone)
