This is an outstanding and informative review of P E Class, and, apart from Cathay's normal meanness regarding amenities kit, seems pretty good. The old Air Rage Prompter of the guy in front's seat hitting you in the face when he does a high speed recline has been dealt with.
50% more than economy? Yes, especially if you can get the front row.
Credit where it's due but buy your own adaptor if you're a regular. What did I say about meanness? 20 adaptors for an entire aircraft when they need them in EY too AND they don't sell them either.

Isn't this a little too close to our old J class????
What's more on Cathay Pacific.com descriptions of Regional J have disappeared see here: Cathay Pacific - What's Onboard : Travel Classes > Business Class
So imagine a passengers confusion & disappointment when they transfer from Long Haul J to Regional J after having maybe experienced Premium EY on another flight. Admittedly Regional J is 45" in pitch and is only six (A330) or 7 (B777) across vs. 38" pitch and 8 across on P-EY. Seat width is virtually identical.
IMHO Regional J has to be upgraded to a modern J Class ASAP or we will lose customers.
On the subject of P-EY - I wonder if the iJourney team could get on the front foot and announce the Staff travel procedures/fares etc for using it?
Looks like a great product - but lets have more consistency of product across ALL the fleet - after all we are meant to be a "Business" airline.
Should have looked a little deeper:
