Didn't say CX wasnt a joke.. I said it was better. And it is.

I don't care. The info is out there.
Put up HKA's numbers and compare.
They are the lowest.

Going on leave now..
My staff travel business seat awaits.

I am sorry "aaiguy_fitz_hkfooey", you must be joking with this:

As I said previously, guys are regularly commuting, some as far as Germany & Spain...if their staff travel was no good, they wouldn't be doing that.

Are you telling us that those guys are commuting to Europe???? The only ones commuting are the Philippine community there. They can be 9-10 days at home, but not in a row, twice per month. HKA management don't allow it. Why do you think most of the European pilots flying for HKA have their families, wife and children, living in HK? Because they can't commute, and they are not going to be able to do for a long time. Or do you think that they prefer to be living in HK than in their countries with that money you are telling us they are receiving?

So easy so simple.

I don't know which airline is better in HK, or it is offering best future, but your previous statement is not true, and that is very important for those thinking to join HKA.

WRTo jump seating on freighters. Hong Kong registered freighters are certified 'For freight only' which is why we couldn't JS on the KA freighters and cannot on the CX ones. The only people allowed on board have to be on duty and connected with the operation. If HKA are allowing it, they must be bending the rules.

So does anyone know just how many FO's they are taking on this year? I sent in an application about 4 weeks ago but didn't hear anything yet. Although this is standard procedure in HK (the silent treatment).

I have 1800 TT mostly on B737 in Europe. Anyone else in the same situation as me?

I know HKA is not the best. But if you want to be in HK, then the options are limited, especially for an FO.

(SEPLA)'s the pilot's union in Spain.
Already called a Spanish friend to call them to confirm the info and ask who can attend, where is it going to be, and other info.

I'll let you know as soon as I know as well (most probably today)

called Friday, Monday and today, Tuesday... no one picks up from SEPLA... really strange... Used the number given on SEPLA's web page.

Couldn't check if the info is real.

If anyone knows more about this possible HKA interview in Madrid, please share... I'm on Day-Off on the 19th... so I might go there.
