Commuting from SHZ?!?! nuts.....

OK, if even with all you read before you are still willing to go, take in consideration that your plan to commute from SHZ is impossible with the fantastic rooster of HKE. Early start and late arrival, days off that are never together (except for 2 days off that are the minimum legal), and you won't be able to commute. You'll have to live in HK. And pay HK taxes as well. So hte savings you are saying are impossible.

Even if you live your family in China (how do you plan to keep your visa?) you'll need to rent a place in HK due to rooster. And don't expect to fly too much in terms of flying time, but you can expect lots of nights away (for instance, fly 1:30 HKG-MNL, stay 3 days in MNL, and then fly 1:30 back; so in five days you'll have flown 3 hours and stayed 4 nights away from home).

Good luck, But even if the situation gets better you'll still working for the same bastards, and they don't respect any contracts or nothing. And forget about going to court, you'll loose, as everybody did!

If you speak to any of the guys who left you'll see that everybody (including myself) are very happy about the fact of being far away from HKE or from anything related to Hainan gruop, since the Singas answer to them and they agree with the way things are going there.

Snow Dragon, as pointed out, you will be unable to commute from anywhere except Tung Chung.
If you share a flat with 5 or so helpers, and live on rice, you might be able to put away enough for a deposit on a pretty nice 10-15 year old used japanese car.....in 2-3 years.
Of course the 500 hours F/O time on the 737 that you will accumulate in those 2-3 years will be invaluable.
Good luck

No worries dude

If your trying to get into aviation in Hong Kong, believe me, take the advice given on this forum.....read it from the start.

What good is money if you are dead in a smoking hole in the ground? Because the standards you'll be trained to by these clowns are the worst I've seen....and I've meet some very poor pilots, who through the fact that they are just losers(and no-one else can be ****** trying to be managers) made is somehow to the top. The Singa snakes are exactly this.

Your better off trying for Cathay Pathetic's pathetic cadetship offer of employment by tenfold.

Air Hong Kong will be needing pilots as well.

Stay away from HKA/HKE no matter how desparate you are to fly here. The Singa snakes ARE NOT PROFESSIONALS. THEY ARE CRIMINALS who managed to somehow pay the corrupt CAD for a licence, cause they certainly can't fly for ****!!!!!

You've been warned.

Good luck

Can anyone confirm that these clowns held a stealth roadshow in Indonesia hoping to sign up a heap of cheap labor, and not one single Indo accepted their generous offer?

What are the Singa's going to do now that their plan of endless cheap labour in indo is not interested in working for the evil empire? Word is out guys, no one will touch you with a 40 foot barge pole.

Pay your guys the cash, pay the housing, pay the schooling, pay market rate for an expat pilot in Hong Kong or become another statistic. Simple.

Bunch of useless, brainless Singa policy makers.

Interviews Soon...But What Type???

Interviews soon, but judging by the last six months of Singa myth and magic, the aeroplanes that are coming are:
  • A320 or A330, to HKA, then to HKE, then to HKA.
  • A340-600 (Mdm Wu Wu's plot to have the opportunity to purchase some Italian designer heels from Milan), oops, no, that's not happening any more.
  • B777's definitely. Aaah, no, now that's not happening anymore.
  • Your suggestion could go in this space!
A bunch of turkey's lah. The laughing stock of HKIA.

Who are they interviewing? The orangutangs from the jungle of Borneo?

Makes sense......they have the same brain capacity and physical attributes as the Hainan and HKA management.

Mass debator.
I take offence to your comment above.
How dare you accuse orangutans of being on the same level as HKA/HKE or Hainan management

Takamasa. Give up. They are not worth it. Sorry to give you the bad news.

Word on the street is the HKE ex H.R manger (p.k) will be subpoenaed to give evidence in court, And wu wu and ronnie should be very worried. Seems someone taped all meetings, phone conversations, and chats. any truth to this?

Another rumor is about 12 captains are waiting until January then will give their 3 months notice. The contract expires in April. Mass exodus then.

Get out now. Any job will be better. Ask any one of us that left or were fired and not one of us will say we are worse off. So why stay, or why join? You have been warned.

My deepest and sincere apologies to all orangutans and to intelligentpilot for falsely posting that Hainan and HKA management are of the same intelligence to that of an orangutan.

If you could find an ameba that feasts off the puss that grows from the fungus that sprouted from the effluence from a swine flu virus, then you'd be getting closer to the calibure of HKA and Hainan managment

You guys obviously need to be spoon fed. Here let me do all the work for you.

This company https://pilot.cae.com/Careers.aspx does screening for the following companies.
AirAsia, Lion Air, Arik, Air Jazeera, Tyrolean, Wizz Air, Indigo, RyanAir, Denim, Pinnacle Airlines, Avanti Air, Vueling. Especially good for Indonesians and Malaysians that want to go back home, or guys that are sick of waiting for all the promises to eventuate. F/O's can go directly there as a captain. Direct entry commands and rapid commands on offer, for those wanting to escape Singa Hell.

Also recruiting NOW. See previous post of mine.

intelligentpilot

thank for your advice. thank,mate

i will seriously think about my options.

i looked at what you gave me. it's actually pretty useful.

Air Asia is not bad though, they provide training bonds for you and the requirement is not that high.

hopefully things will work at the end.

thanks again!!
