How low?

What are the definitions of high and low standard? Can someone raise some solid examples? In my point of view, Flight Crew Training Manual, Company SOP and other relevant manuals from manufactory as well as company are the standard.

Would that be the manuals from the manufactory, or the manuals from the Singa B******t Factory???

Just asking.

Having flight manuals and SOP's and "manufactory??????" is all good but NONE OF THE SOUTH EAST ASIAN PILOTS follow them. Thats the HKA standard.

I see the snakes are maintaining there personal low ethical standards.

Meeting arranged with only invites to those who are from South America or from the snake pit. - Good one snakes, your maintaining your great business ethic of sneaking behind everyone's backs!!

Money is getting tight huh? You need to slither around and try to get the poor South Americans to lower themsevles to your level. Good luck trying to get them to move to Manila

And now dormitory accommodation for crew in Beijing????? This is the best of them all. Thanks snakes, you made me laugh for a looooong time at this one. Good on you Stew Dick, this must be your idea to try and sexually harrass some more hosties.

Well, pilotinasia, looks like all your bumlicking isn't going to do you any good, unless you pay for your own command upgrade - ha! Enjoy the dormitory.

Losers.

just to clarify...

....are Hong Kong Express and Hong Kong Airlines one and the same company? The web site says they are "sister companies", does one fly cargo...have different bases...is one better than the other Do they fall under different management structures?..Pay scales?

Witchiepoo

They are separate. HKA is nowhere near the same standard as HKE, HKA run by racist, discriminating, sexual harassing criminals, HKE run by almost normal people.

Pay scales different depending on what nationality you are from for HKA. I think HKE is uniform pay scale.

Command upgrades for HKA are for the criminals mates who can't fly to save themsevles and threaten to kill TRE's if they fail them or an individual arselicking F/O. HKE is based on what most airlines call seniority.

Oh, and by the way, QAR reports from South East Asian pilots are DELETED(hard landings, overbanking just to name a couple) whilst any other nationality who has a QAR will be reported.

Go figure.

Can't wait till CAD finds about this. ALL YOU SINGA SNAKES AND S.E.A. PILOTS ARE F*CKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HA HA - go home!! Before you get sent home.

Drool69er, I suggest you defer your celebrations if it is based on action by the CAD.

If QAR evidence is being tampered with we all know the implications but to expect the CAD to act when they have had their stamp of approval (a valid AOC) on the standards of a totally inept organisation for more than 6 years (since the CR days) does not suggest the CAD will act now.

The individual FOI may take a hard line but from Assistant or Deputy Director upwards they will do as their political masters instruct, and the threat of Hainan dis investing with all the resultant fall out is more than our government could abide.

You are correct - HKE was a far different organisation. Now, however, I hear that numbers are diminishing as the HKA influence becomes paramount. Their DFO recently left and I believe that their General Manager Flying is now to follow. Both are professionally sound good men. That does not suggest an improvement is nigh!

Hailer, unfortunately, you are bang on the money.

Latest rumour going around the traps ( outside of the hallowed HKA walls ) is HKA shutting shop, Hainan might have deep pockets but how long are they willing to lose money for, already been 18 months or more

They were'nt making money at < USD100/barrell, so they sure as 5hit are'nt makin' any at > USD125/barrell
Bring on the widebodies...bwa ha ha ha ha ha ha

HKCAD Collusion

Hailer and hongkongfooey, correct on all counts.

Hailer, as far as collusion with the HKCAD, it extend to a very senior level, HKA now get's away with whatever they want, based on protection, and a policy of "hands-off" that emanates from very senior non-operational CAD management.

Their current FOI has been thrown out of every other operator on the airfield, and HKA is the last place that he can work. The regulatory oversight there is practically non-existent.
