Just arrived back from Thailand last night, and read this in the news while I was there!
Grenades Fired At Thai Newspaper Office:
Two grenades exploded outside the offices of Thailand's second biggest newspaper, the Daily News, and at the Rama Garden Hotel next door causing minor damage.....................................

Maybe just the Police Officers club next door letting off steam after a session in the bar. Such things are not unknown in that part of the world.
