MAN Freighter Qu's

Hello All
Just a few questions about the Manchester freighter base. What are the salary scales? What is the roster like? Any other thoughts?
Thanks

What are the typical roster patterns on the Classic based in Manchester? I've heard it's typically 7 on 7 off, but to be prepared for as long as a 12 day trip if it all goes a bit pete tong.

Rgds,

They end up as 'magical mystery tours' due to a/c maintenance issues and a general shortage of crews. The training system is designed to 're-educate' those from outside. Read into that what you will.

'Week on/week off' happens pretty well on the UK based 400F. Tis but a pipedream for the poor Classic chaps. There is some conjecture about the future of the old girl who is dodging the abbatoir at the moment because of sheer shortage of newer airframes.

Nuff said

Cool

due to a/c maintenance issues
That should be technical issues rather than maintenance issues, it's not our fault you keep breaking them! Believe me we are busting a gut to keep these things serviceable!

Bad use of words on my part Spanners and I apologise.

Think all drivers are aware of the difficulties you face.

Seasons greetings

Cool

No problem, lets hope it is a merry Xmas and a prosperous New Year, if the rumours are true, then it should be!
