Virgin Atlantic - New Flight Ops Director - ex-Ansett?

Lyell Strambi (ex Ansett) has just appointed Matthew Lee (ex Ansett) as the successor to Malcolm Wagstaff as Flight Ops Director at Virgin Atlantic Airways

I worked with LS about 10 years ago when he was a humble accountant within AN. Apparently he developed into a very good strategic manager and was well regarded by Eddington. When NZ started playing all their management shenanigans and insisted that AKL knew all and MEL knew nothing he wisely chose to take a package and headed to VS.

What role does Lyell Strambi perfom at Virgin Atlantic and what duties and responsibilities does Matthew Lee have.
I know of both of them and I would suggest they are both gentleman and smart operators.
