BLACKLISTED
OK here is an interesting one.
I discovered that Myself and another expat have been black listed.
To fill you in the both of us are osmates and not “89ers” we left to work overseas, when we were given opportunities to use our particular specialisation.
We returned to OZ and have since been in the industry working. Due to last September one of us is now out of work.
Having been offered a job back at the previous employer and basically being packed & ready to go the offer was withdrawn with tickets booked.
The reason given was that a file from the previous GM had been discovered with a blacklist of pilots “not to be hired again”.
Now I know why I am on the black list and no it did not have anything to do with an onion patch, but it was fun.
Is their anything anyone can suggest to overcome this particular problem.

Thanks Gull,. .May we hope that one day the Roofer, the Great Goulet, the Aussie Natzi Misappropriater and the Stoagysmoker will sleep on that park bench we used to laugh about when times were good. Every dog has its day......as my tongue hangs out in the hot sun after licking my own balls!!! <img src="tongue.gif" border="0"> (My turn is nigh) . .Appreciate a call on any goss up there. There is a limit to the variety of styles to cook baked beans.....especially with luggage in toe!!. .It is a shame though that the company shunns one who did everything by the book, and tried to implement a few torn and chewed up pages of the book into an otherwise shonky operation.

And people have the hide to bitch that 89ers cant let things go! IHD the "blacklists" will always be there and used at will by the home-grown scab outfits. They dont publicise it of course because they still want the gullible Oz public to believe there heroes and dont carry grudges of 12 years ago.
