TBirds grounded while an investigation is underway to establish how the two jets came into contact with eachother.
Looks like Rob needs to add the words 'missile launcher pylon' to his vocabulary.
Six F-16 planes landed safely at the Gary/Chicago Airport in Gary, Ind., after the afternoon incident, and no one was injured, officials said. Air Force spokesman Rob Lazaro said he did not know what kind of object had fallen from the plane.

Are they taking the cost of the a/c out of his pay check?
I guess he must have been a good pilot to get selected for the team in the first place, but this sort of error in front of a big crowd, when the purpose of the flight is to demonstrate the excellence of the Air Force, can't be acceptable, surely.
