Mexican pilot arrested

News report that a Mexican helicopter pilot is under arrest in Nicaragua after allegedly helping four exotic dancers fly south with the hopes of opening up a new drug trafficking route by using the helicopter to fly below radar. At least nine others are suspected of participating in the plot.

Mexican officials say the dancers tried to pose as anthropologists, which tipped them off to the crime: they say scientists can rarely afford to rent helicopters!

I think the report said it was a Dauphin.

Anyone know anything?

If it is Blender I'll throw in another 10......

If he keeps going like this, he will not only get a heap of lap dances, some erotic anthropology lessons he will never forget, an all expenses paid holiday, and a few bob to spare.

Where do I sign....!!!

Question

Aren't we still waiting for the details on the B206 speed boat incident from BP?

Why do these interesting articles involving helicopters & women seem to revolve around that part of the world

Noooooo It Wasn't Me . . . . . .

This happened not so recently and the story is that somebody "convinced" the pilots to fly south and pick up some "stuff" come back with it.

So how can you rent a helicopter for the whole day and not have anybody wonder where it is?

They got some local "exotic dancers" and had them pose as Archaeologists to go and rent a AS365 Dauphin to go visit some of the many remote and still uncovered Mayan ruins in the peninsula, the plan was to take off early and fly to Nicaragua and back but it all went wrong when they landed where they were supposed to pick up the stuff and refuel, there were not able to refuel, and they got caught.

No I don't know the pilot, he was a GOMER pilot.
