Can anybody find any news link to that story? The a.m. report seems a bit confused and full of contradictions to me and is supposed to be more than 12 hours ols now - but I cannot not find any better report...

iran air F-100
They were no.5 in the line awaiting for de-icing but for some reasons decided to skip de-icing.
Another 20 min holding short of the TO runway in freezing tem and recent snow had agravated the situation.
Out of the 113 on board ,both pilots and chief flt attendant has been hospitalized due minor injury.

Is it just me, or do quite a few recent accidents where aircraft have skidded off the runway during t/o or landing seem to have been videoed by pax as soon as they are off the aircraft?

Whilst clearly a risk when used during the incident (e.g. the recent t/o crash with truck on runway) to themselves and other PAX, amateur camera shots (though perhaps not in this incident) could provide valuable evidence to assist investigators.

CAP 168 Chapter 8 suggests achieving response time of 2 mins, not exceeding 3 mins in optimum visibility and surface conditions.
However, it doesn't take into account whether or not they are volleyballing, carwashing or watching the footy on sky tv!!! Only joking guys.
