Whatever next - crews paying airlines ?
Swiss have decided to claim their 1 day losses from the recent short haul strike from the Pilots Union.
I can't believe it after over 5 years of negotiations that were stuck the union finally decides on a 1 day strike - and this is how the airline react. Not suprised that Swiss are cancelling more and more short haul flights as the pilots are talking with their feet (of 25 Avro's - 6 are not flying due mainly to lack of pilots).ugh:
The latest is that pilots are walking faster than they can be replaced - don't blame them when an Avro co-pilot gets less that a bowser driver at Zürich airport. The only way to show a management that you mean it - unfortunately - is to bring the house of cards down.
Congrats to all who leave - rather than waiting to be shafted and you can get a Bus or Boing rating to make you not only much more valuable but also make finding the next job even easier:
