Look out for one of Air Atlantique's DC-3's at the airport tomorrow. Supposed to be there at about 1400.

It's listed as training, and they are at Leeds in the morning too according to their website. Look at the our aircraft section on the Classic Flight website.

Which Dak is it?

The good old days when they were based down in the islands when they were operated by Intra Airways.

If only the clock could be turned back if my memory serves be wright PY was the second Dakota in the Intra fleet the first one being G-AKNB .

Doncaster airport

When i'm working around the area,Hatfield,Finningley camp, etc not far from the airport,i sometimes see other airlines coming in.
Today it was an Oasis Airlines 747 (i think) in a hard bank to the left on approach... 5 minutes later,it was on approach again,so i don't think it even landed,or taxied.
Have seen easy jet too...a few months ago.Exactly the same thing.
I know only Wizz,Ryanair, and Thomsonfly use Donnie,so are they just using the airspace & runway for pilot training as it's not a busy airport...?

Yes, and they have also used similar airfields in the past such as Manston.

Decent length of concrete and quiet enough for multiple approaches.
