V1 - decision speed
V1 has evolved into an "ACTION" rather than a "DECISION" speed.

Veo - engine failure speed (in certification 3 secs before V1)
Are you sure that this is based on 3 secs??? I always thought that it was 1 sec and called Vef.

V2, JAR speak.....?

V2 in the USA is referred to as takeoff safety speed, and has been thus for a very long time.
