Dear all,

for the benefit of correct operations, please do have a look:

It is a spotters corner forum, professional replies please here.

Your observations?

FD,
For the last couple of months, lots of 27LDVR deps have been "off-track" I've asked a couple of airlines to contact that flight ops guys, and investigate the FMS. They've just bought into this, and have escalated my request.
I agree with your other post 100%. Does anyone havea contact for Jepps I could email? PM me if so, and i can provide them with images of how it used to be, and how it is now.
Thanks,

  • DME IBB reads zero at 09R THR. (UK AIP)
  • DME ILL is the same station as IBB. (UK AIP)
  • First turn is prescribed at D1 ILL. (UK AIP)
  • 09RTHR is W000 28' 56.49'' (UK AIP)
  • The turn waypoint should be on track, one mile past the threshold, fly-over.

When I look to waypoint database (not on the aricraft) D274A is coded as fly-over with left turn, course-to-fix waypoint. Coordinates are W000 29' 06.88''.

Runway track is westerly (273 deg), so the difference is mere 10.39'' or 0.11 NM or 200 m.

I'd be happy to see those charts, can that be done?

FD.

Would it not be defined as "RW09RA" in Jepp speak?

UK AIP does not provide cooridnates of the waypoint, therefore it cannot have a name but is code-named instead.
