I'm missing a very few hours on the required hours BUT I am type rated (Flight Safety) on one of their types.

Is it worth sending them a letter and CV or is it just false hope and waste of another stamp?

Thanks.

PS

I have:

1450 hrs TT
160 hrs ME
50 hrs Multi Crew Jet
and only a CPL/IR (Frozen ATPL)

Red face

If that's your attitude then you'll never get anywhere.Get off your butt and do something about it.You might not be eligable now-who knows, but you may at their next recruitment drive. If you dont want to "waste " another stamp then e-mail them ;[email protected] put NJE in subject and press send button.
Hey presto

Go for it FI.

If you're the right type then 50 hours ain't going to make any difference.

Cool Anyone who can help ?

I recently sent my CV and got an e-mail saying that they are not hiring at the moment but they'll keep it on the database for 6 months. A couple of days later I was surprised to see their add on FI.
Does anyone know if they are really hiring or is it just going to be a database refreshment?
Plus, what are the chances of being considered having 2800 A320 hours and being tired of schedule flights?
Thank to anyone who'll take the time to give me some advise.
Cheers,
Bugs

Exclamation proposed salary cuts

parties interested in joining netjets europe should be aware that salary cuts of up to 30% have been 'offered' to many of the pilots. Non agreement to the 'offer' will unlease radical reviews etc etc yawn yawn.
Just thought you should know.

I heard that the salary structure was an hours based thing, so they ended up with some very high hours pilots being paid lots, working along side others who may have been more suitable corporate pilots who joined with less hours and therefore earning less. This re-structuring, the rumour has it, is seeking to redress the balance. Mmmmmmmm!

If the above post is correct, then it would seem they have finally caught on to this fact. If there are 2,3,4,...etc., pay scales for people doing the same job and same seniority them moral goes out the window.

Anyone interrested in applying to Netjets should first read the post "Netjets the silver lining"
Then ask yourselve:
-Do i want to put up with unilateral 30% paycuts ?
-Do i like to have NO representation ?
-Do i believe that just because the have cut salaries once the will not do it again ?

Those hoping for 6 on 5 off........its now 18 days, but the management will try to stick to .......

Negative responses

Just curious,

Although I myself am not a prolific contributor, why does it appear that the majority of negative responses come from contributors who have few, if actually more than one, post.

What is Netjets really like?

I have read all the past posts on Netjets and there seems to be mixed opinions on the company.

So.......Any Netjet people want to spill the beans on:

Pay (average)
Do you really do 6 on 5 off?
Is it fun flying or are you sitting around all day?
Conditions (Medical/Pensions)

and is it really worth it?

Thanks

Pay. Varies quite a bit but under the new pay scales an FO would start on a figure not too far from 40,000 Euros. Captain around 70,000. It is also possible to earn extra for additional duties (training capt, etc).

So far I've pretty much had six on five off. Where I've had my time off cut short I have got the days back later although a few people say they're still owed.

Sitting around all day? You must be joking. Working our little bums off.

Is it really worth it? Do you mean 'Is it better than being unemployed'? If so, the answer is yes.

Question

Does the salary vary according to the fleet you're on? Do these figures include your per-diem?
Cheers

Yes pay varies with fleet.
If you dont get fired first that is.

Flintstone, i like you , but youre priceless. Will you still be so enthusiastic when they cut YOUR salary ?
