Landing site close to Eastbourne, East Sussex ?

Hi:
I need to make a visit to Eastbourne and I'm looking for a resonablyy close landing site.
Best so far seems to be Boship Farm Hotel near Hailsham - short taxi ride away from the town centre.
Any experience of using this site? Easy/difficult approach etc, or any suggestions for a better location?
All help gratefully received.
TIA

I think I can give you an alternative to the Boship. They are about the same distance from the sea front (9 miles) if you need it.

Try the White Lodge Country House Hotel, Sloe Lane, Alfriston, BN26 5UR, they have helo landing facilities

Their Number is 01323 870265

Hope that helps

Have you tried the Boship Hotel in Hailsham - its a short drive into Eastbourne - I believe that its free but you will have to check

01323 844826/503403 ppr and location is N52.63 E000 13.88 (6.5nm NNW of Eastbourne)

Check a Pooley's for more details

Eastbourne Site

You want the Model Railway site, approx one mile North East of the Town Centre. The owner Mike and his good lady like to see helis there.

Elite helis have done pleasure flying there.
